Each year Uppsala hosts one of Europe’s largest short film festivals with filmmakers and artists from all over the world. As we now find ourselves between two festivals, we will receive advance notice of the direction the 2020 festival will take.

Den magiska skogen - Workshop i stopmotion animation (The magic forest - Workshop on stop motion animation

Together we look at a number of works of art from the museum collections, including Johan Thurfjell’s sculpture The 3rd Age and the animation Tassemarken, and we talk about the tree as an art form and symbol. During the workshop we will work with stop motion animation.
